How to reduce the noise of stepper motors

Hello,

To reduce the stepper motor noise of RS-CNC32, I purchased Oyostepper's DM542T stepper motor driver and Ooznest's NEMA23 replacements (2305HS280AW and 2303HS200AW).

Unfortunately, when I tested this combination, it was much noisier than the original TB6600 and 57BYBH56 kit motors. Swapping the 2.0A and 2.8A motors did not improve the situation. There is noticeable white noise when the motor is stationary, and the stepper motor is very noisy when moving. When I lean the motor against something solid, like the aluminum frame of a router or a block of wood, the vibrations are amplified.

Using the older (cheap) motors with the DM542T drivers has significantly reduced noise and improved torque and holding performance over the factory configuration. (Highly recommended)

I would really like these motors to work, but they have to be quieter. Some DM542 drivers seem to have an auto-setup feature when the sw4 switch is toggled, but that doesn't seem to help with these.
